This morning I said, hey let's take a picture of a bird... then all the birds flew away... so this "libelula" (that's how I call it in spanish)... sat at a cable near a wall in construction (at my house)... I took many photos... (It flew away and came several times)... I like this one because the libelula is on focus and the background is very well framed... I did not edit the photo. Hey my kodak CX4230 is doing a good job after all :) (Smile)

Order: ODONATA Sub-order: Zigoptera

that's a very nice profile shot. the body looks like it is gold-plated. :) (Smile)

Your dragonfly looks pretty sweet too. I agree about it looking gold-plated; the wire below is makes a good addition.
